🌾 Scarecrow in the Loft 🌾

Scarecrow Illustration

Scarecrow in the Loft
A farmer keeps a scarecrow stowed in his loft,
He freshens his face with a black Marks-a-Lot.
Though he’s made of sticks, straw, and a hat full of fluff,
The farmer insists—“He’s sturdy enough!”

He may look scary to some or to all,
But he’s just a mannequin, ragged and tall.
Though built to scare birds from the corn and hay,
Even a scarecrow naps part of the day.

When feathered flocks come fluttering near,
One look at his grin—and poof! they disappear.
The farmer had harvests full of good cheer,
So he kept ol’ straw-face for another year.
